What a relief:)

Well, we went to the Middle School and picked up Brett's school schedule. He also got to find his locker and both of the classrooms he will be in and the lunchroom so he won't get lost:) I think he was pretty nervous about going to the Middle School (I know I was!!), but now he seems pretty excited:) They had supply lists there for the kids (which weren't at any of the stores!) and so Grandma Wanda took him shopping for the rest of his supplies:) He's almost all set for school:) I just need to get them both a couple pairs of jeans. Brett's teacher is Mrs. Pinar who was Lexie's 3rd grade teacher last year!! His other teacher is Mrs. Gannon who was his 3rd grade teacher! How funny is that?? Anyway, I'm hoping everything goes well:) Lexie can't wait to see who her teacher is gonna be;) Ok, I will try to keep you posted:) Have a good one:)

Hey:) I'm not sure quite how long it's been since I've blogged, but I figured it's past time to catch you all up with us:) The kids have been behaving suprisingly well lately:) Ususally by the end of summer vacation, they are at each other's throats:( Granted, they are still not "fight-free" but it's not been too bad:) We've finished celebrating all our birthdays;) We went to the fair last thursday:) It was kinda costly, but we will survive:) Anyway, the kids wanted to try to win a goldfish, so I gave them each $2 so they could try it out:) Lexie won!!! Brett did not:( He got one almost in, but it circled the rim & bounced right out:( Poor guy! Anyway, we are pretty well set for school:) I think all I've got to get is a couple pairs of jeans for them both:) Hooray:) I've even started my Christmas shopping:) I'm on a roll:) Sunday, Jason & Lexie went to camp and Brett & I stayed home:) Anyway, Brett asked me if we could go to town to get him a fish:( Of course, I took him to town where he picked out a goldfish that looked slightly different from Lexie's:) He named him Gilfin:) Anyway, about an hour after getting the fish home, he was dead:( Brett was pretty sad:( He asked me if I was gonna go get another one:( Of course:) I think I will stop tomorrow on the way home from town:) We have to get Brett's school schedule from the junior high tomorrow. I'm still alittle nervous about my little boy going to the big school:( I know, I know...quit worrying. But it's hard because he's my baby. And he's small. I worry about bullies. He'll be going to school with kids from 3 other elementary schools. At least he's gotten to know some from soccer:)
Lexie is all signed up for dance:) I'm pretty excited about it:) She's in tap & jazz:) With our friends' daughters - Tegan, Madison, Aliie, and Mariah:) I'm hoping she learns some coordination from all of this:)

I really hope we have an awesome school year with no problems with teachers:) Unfortunately, those have been scarce for us:( Well, that's all I've got for now:)

Is it August already???? OMG!!!!!

Hey - sorry it's been so long:( It's been a pretty hectic month!! The kids started soccer the end of June, so every monday & wednesday night, we're at the soccer fields:) They have definitely improved since last year!! However, they have only won one game this season:( They start tournaments tomorrow, but Brett is pretty sure that they are going to lose and they will be done:( Poor kids:( But I tell them that they should practice more if they want to get really good. They only practice 45 mins two days a week!!

On July 2nd, I broke my right middle finger right before heading into work:( Thought it was just sprained at first!! I didn't go to the doctor since all they do is tape it to the next one:( So it made my last 3 days of working at Burger King very difficult & it made starting a new job difficult as well especially since I can't leave it taped at work because I can't wear my gloves:( By the way, I started working at Subway by Family Video. It's not bad - pretty easy, I guess. At least it doesn't have all the drama that there was at BK and it's so much less stressful & I enjoy working with everyone:) Jason & the kids like that I get a discount & I bring home cookies:)

Also in July was Lexie's 9th birthday:) She's getting so big:) Growing out of all of her clothes again - she's size 12 now & her shoes are a ladies size 6!!! She's still taller than her brother - poor Brett:( Good thing he doesn't mind being small!! Good news is that he's growing, too:) I'm going to have to get him some 12s, too, I think:) Lexie and Brett got a trampoline from their Grandma & Grandpa Frossard for their birthdays:) She got some clothes & a doll from Auntie Shannah & Uncle Dave & L'il D:) I think everyone else gave her money which she spent at Claire's when I took her birthday shopping on Wednesday:) Actually, she spent a little more than her birthday money so it was a good thing mama was there to pick up the rest;) She picked out a couple pairs of shorts, a tank top, and another hoodie from Jason & I for her birthday:)

Then Wanda took Brett & Lexie back to school shopping Thursday!! They got new shoes and tons of school supplies!!! Lexie LOVES to shop!!! I guess she's like her mother that way:) We also celebrated their cousins, Hunter & Quinton's, birthdays and Lexie's godmother, Rachel's.

See what I mean about a busy month???? Anyway, I've got to go. I will yak at ya later:)
