April 19th:)

So far, it's been a pretty good day:) It so helps that I don't have to work today:) Well, yesterday, I worked 6:30-3, then came home & made pork chops & roasted baby red potatoes:) It was yummy!!! Even Jason & the kids loved it when they came home from camp:) The kids took their baths, Jason washed dishes, then the kids & I watched the ACM awards last night:) Since they weren't allowed to stay up until 11 p.m. on a school night, Lexie wanted me to record the rest of it for her:) She was so happy that Lady Antebellum won 2 awards (before she went to bed - I think they won another one or two after).
I ordered Lexie some new summer clothes from Justice (her fave clothing store). I got her an outfit, a necklace, a new duffel bag (for when we travel), 4 tank tops, & 8 pairs of shorts:) I had a coupon for 40% off entire order & some of it was already on sale:) When it comes in, I will have to take pics & post them so you can see all the super cute things:) I just hope they fit her alright. I went with a 12 since she's growing so much & I hope it's not too big - I know the tops will fit, but unsure about the bottoms - I will let ya know:)
Now I'm just waiting for the kids to come home - less than 2 hours from now. I'm also trying to get up the ambition to start cleaning out my office since we will be turning it into our new bathroom:) What a pain, though! I finally picked out paint for the living room, bathroom, hallway, new office (where the bathroom currently is) and our bedroom. We are drywalling in the livingroom, and one hallway, too:) We still need to get our lights for the kitchen - we can't seem to agree on them! Jason is going to make one whole wall in my new office bookshelves:) It's gonna be so cool:) We picked out floor for the bathroom - I gotta pick up the tile for the hall. We've got our new tub & toilet & bathroom sink:) We're also bringing the roof out over the porch & kitchen (to match the rest of the roof which is lower over the kitchen). We've got new front doors, too:) I can't wait!!! Our house is gonna look completely different:) We are planning to rip the carpet out of the livingroom, our bedroom, and Brett's room and go with laminate. Lexie wants hers pulled out, too. (Her's is pretty new, mind you, and beautiful purple!) She told me it's way too hard to set up her Polly Pockets on carpeting;) What a kid - I told her to find a hard surface to play on since we spent a couple hundred dollars on her carpet:( Grrr! Brett's, on the other hand, is a little older and not in as nice shape. Plus, with hi allergies, he's really not supposed to have carpeting anyway:(
The kids are almost all set for soccer this summer:) I signed them up last month:) Good thing, because their age division is all full already and they don't even start until the end of June!!! They have their new soccer balls & shoes. I just need to get them shin guards & socks:) At least the most expensive things are already taken care of:) Hooray for me:)
Now I just gotta get Lexie on the sign-up sheet for dance next fall:) Possibly skating, too, if I can fly it - she sure does like to watch the ice skating:) Oh, by the way, she hasn't broken any bones or severely hurt herself on her new roller blades:) Go, Lexie!!! She's also been very good about wearing her bike helmet when she rides down the road to her friends' houses:) No big crashes for Lexie this year:) Brett, on the other hand, took a big diggeer a couple weeks ago on his bike - he scraped his arms pretty good:(

I went to school in the morning.On the bus I sat by my friend Allyson.She is nice.BUT MY FRIEND EM EM WAS GONE. There is a mean girl to.I do not like her. I played with Sara She is nice.'OMG'byby.

I had a great day.Me and my friends and I were screwing aroud.Taylor Emmi fell on me several times(I swear that girl is obsested with me...and probly fell on me on perpose)well...I am realy runing late...my favorite show is on so...gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood bye lol Brett

april 12th:)

Not much going on today. I worked 9-4 and the kids had school. I am making goulash for dinner & Lexie & I are going to a Pampered Chef party at Ashley's tonight:) Actually, Grandma Wanda is taking us:) Lexie is folding laundry & Brett is watching cartoons right now. Jason will be home from work in a few minutes & dinner should be done soon:) Good because I am starving!!!! I guess that's it for now:) Have a great day, all:)

April 11th:)

Hey - I have a day off:) Anyway, we spent the day at camp. It was kinda boring. There's really not much to do. Kylee, Taylor, Kevin, Jim, Wanda, and Jimmy were up there (Jason's parents & brothers & our neice & nephew). My SIL, Tracy came up after dinner with Andy, Kylee's boyfriend. Not much to say except it was a beautiful day & it was pretty quiet. The kids had a couple of minor disagreements (as usual) and Jason shot a porcupine & broke down a beaver dam - he was pretty happy:) The dogs were all up there - 5 of them - Midnight, Toby, Kaylie, Kyra, & Ruger. They got along pretty well, too:) Kaylie found a pocupine AGAIN!!! Jason took 2 quills out of her nose - AGAIN! (she found one last time, too!) Lexie was filthy by the time we left & so was Jason after being in the river - stinky!!! Anyway, there are no pics because, can you believe it, I forgot my camera!?! Sorry:( I also have no pics of talent show or video because aparently Jason & I need to learn how to use our equipment before an event instead of during:( Yeah, pretty dumb:( I am super sad:( Anyway, that's all I got for now:) The kids are taking their baths - I think Lexie's in there now:) Gotta get them ready for bed & school tomorrow:)
Oh - I almost forgot - Lexie got straight A's on her report card & Brett got all A's & 1 B:) Plus, they BOTH scored above average in Reading & Math on their MEAP tests:) Hooray:) See ya:)

Hey, it's April already?!?

Hi, everyone:) Time is just flying by:( Next month is Brett's 11th birthday already!!! Easter is already done, too! Ok, so what's been going on the past couple of months??? I think the last time I blogged was just after our annual Green Bay trip to Disney on Ice. The kids have been doing very well. No one has been too sick, but they both had pretty bad coughs a couple weeks ago, so they both stayed home from school one day. I really had to watch Brett & make sure he used his inhaler. I swear, my heart skips a beat everytime he coughs!!!

Brett has been going through "girlfriends" left & right. He can't seem to make up his mind who he likes the most (apparently he thinks all of them are great!). Wonderful... He loves 4th grade:) He has lots of friends:) He's getting better at washing the dishes, although daddy still gets mad at him pretty often for dirty ones:( He loves to play Super Mario Bros Wii with me:) We're quite good at it:) Although my partner gets grounded off of it too often:( He fell off of his bike the other day & scraped both of his arms pretty good:( No broken bones, though:)He is pretty excited that his cousins, Hunter & Quinton, are here from Georgia for the week:)

Lexie had a boyfriend for about a week. My nephew, Taylor, said that he was an idiot, but I don't know him. Anyway, that's over. She's been spending some time with my neice, Kylee, and she's loving every minute of that:) Kylee crimped Lexie's hair last weekend - I've got pics:) She's enjoying 3rd grade, but there are a couple of girls (one in particular) who aren't very nice to her:( I just keep on telling her to ignore them, but she's a little upset by it. She's made friends with a couple of little girls who live on our road - Hooray!!! Grace is in 1st grade & Emily is in 2nd. They are 7&8. It's so nice to see her play with other little girls:) She's participating in the Lemmer talent show on Thursday night @6. Her & her friend Sarah are going to sing a song:) I can't wait!! I gotta make sure my video camera is all charged up:)

So, as you can see, both of them are doing very well:) They are around 100% on their AR already. (Accelerated Reading for those who don't know). They are supposed to be doing 25% each marking period & it's just the beginning of the 4th, so they are ahead of schedule:) The great thing is that I don't have to force them:) They LOVE to read!! Both of them have a reading level at least one grade ahead of them:) Oh, Lexie just got her MEAP scores back for Math & Reading and she scored above average in both categories:)

All in all, I can honestly say that I am quite proud of my two brats:) They fight quite a bit these days, but what siblings don't??? They are both signed up for soccer this summer & I got Lexie a new pair of roller blades yesterday (she's been wearing mine which are size 9! She wears a 6!). I will be sure to take pics of her - she fell on her butt walking out the door with them on, but it didn't stop her:) That's my girl:) Ok - I'm going to try to post some pics tonight, too, but I can't promise anything - you know I have dial-up:(
