Good morning, everyone!
Well, Lexie woke me up this morning to tell me she really liked her new bras:) She wasn't supposed to dig through my shopping bag. She's so nosey:) Anyway, I had a concern about her needing a bra or not since she has started developing (Yeah, she just turned 8!) and I wasn't sure if it was too soon or not. I don't want to push her or anything, but she's definitely got something there:) My baby is growing way too fast! Anyway, I talked to Karie, one of the other managers at work who has 3 girls, and her oldest just turned 11 in May. I kinda wanted her opinion on the subject. She thought it was better to get her used to bras, especially if it seems that she will be needing one soon. So after the movie last night, I went to Walmart & they had some little bras on clearance! 2 of them were Vasarette, which is my mom's fave, & 1 is just a High School Musical one with matching undies. The Vasarette ones were size 30A. I had Lexie try them on for me this morning & they fit her perfectly & she said they were pretty comfy, too:) She's very excited about them, but I'm nervous, mostly because she's my baby. Unfortunately, girls are developing way too soon these days:( It worries me as the mom of such a headstrong, beautiful little girl. Well, I guess all I can do is be here for her, right?
After the bra show, I had her try on her new school clothes so I could take pics for our fashion show on our blog:) She's busy watching Winx & eating my Fruity Pebbles:) A nice change from the Pokemon ones they've been watching:)LOL!
I went to see The Ugly Truth with Holli last night - Super funny! I loved it! I can't wait for Jason's opinion:) I had to go to Walmart last night to get him the new Fast & Furious movie, so he was up late watching that:)
I don't know yet what our plans are for the day - I will have to see what the kids want. They'll probably just want to stay home for a change since they are gone so much:)
Well, I'm going to post their pics now:) I decided that since so much was about Lexie lately, that we would post Brett's Poetry book:) He did such an awesome job:)

Burn, baby, burn:(
Hi, I don't know if I will be on long, I hear thunder:( I know, I know - we need the rain. Anyway, the kids spent another day with grandma & grandpa. I worked 5 a.m. - 2 p.m. today. I opened the kitchen this morning. I was panning up some sausage patties & the top of the basket bounced back and burned my arm:( It hurts like heck! Then, if that didn't feel good enough, I scraped the burn on a box of shake mix when I grabbed a bag out:( We, of course, had no burn spray at work:(
We are having chicken & corn on the cob for dinner tonight, then I am going to see The Ugly Truth with my friend, Holli, tonight. We haven't been to the movies in a while. I hope it's a good one!
The kids are probably going back to grandma & grandpa's with daddy because their Great Aunt Joyce & Uncle Earl are supposed to be visiting. The kids haven't seen them in a while & they love them:)
Ok, I think that's it for now. I am off tomorrow, so we will get more blogging in:) I might do some later if the weather cooperates:)

Brett's Blog;)
I went to Marquette yesterday with my grandma, grandpa, sister, & cousins. We went to the Kid's Museum first. We looked at everything there was to see. One thing that I thought was really cool was the front part of an airplane! There is also a little tower that you can tell what's going around the airplane. You can say things to them, too! Then, we went to Burger King for lunch which we ate at the park.
Next, we went to Target & Gander Mountain because that's grandpa's favorite store. Then we went to this air museum that only had 4 airplanes. One was humungous! There was this other one nicknamed the Delta Dart. Then, we went home.
My cousin, Taylor came over and we played.
Today, I had to do the dishes:( Then, I helped mom peel some potatoes - I only peeled 1 while she peeled the rest of the 5 lb. bag:)

Yesterday, we went to Marquette and the kids museum with Grandma Wanda, Grandpa Jim, Kylee, & Taylor. There was a tree you could climb, an airplane to ride, and an elephant slide. There were different places to play at - like the Flintstone's kitchen (that was fun!), a barbar shop, a theater you could put on a play, an electricity conductor, a store, some phones to talk on, a music place, and lots of other fun things to do! I played the piano with Kylee. We played in the store and talked on the phones. There was a car that Taylor pumped gas in! We all pretended we were weather people and I pretended to be a court judge. There were a bunch of cool stones & big rocks there. Kylee, Taylor, and I went upstairs where they had some stuffed deer (mounted). Grandma took a picture of us.
Then we went to Burger King to get some lunch, then we went to the park to eat. Grandma let us go down to the walkway of the lake. We found a bunch of cool stones. Then, we went shopping. After we went shopping, we went to K.I. Sawyer and saw a bunch of big airplanes. Then, we went home.
Mom and I went to meet Auntie Shannah & Li'l D. We were going birthday shopping. We picked up a bunch of clothes. I got some new pink flip flops that have peace signs on them. We dropped Auntie Shannah & Li'l D off at their house since her mom brought them into town. Uncle Dave was still at work, so Auntie Shannah didn't have a car.
When we got home, I tried on my new clothes. I really love them! Thank you to everyone who gave me birthday money to shop with! My day off:)
Well, yesterday, I worked 11-6. Jason, his dad, his brothers, & our friend, Tom, put the roof on the new shed last night:) One more project done:) Brett stayed at home & played with Taylor while Lexie went to town with me to meet Auntie Shannah & Little D to do some birthday shopping. Lexie got 2 more outfits, a skirt, and a pair of flip flops. I will have to have her do a fashion show so I can take pics & show everyone:) They are pretty cute!
This morning, we have been working on some house cleaning - mostly the kitchen. I gave Kaylie a bath and I am working on some potato salad for our get-together tonight after soccer. As tonight is the last night of soccer, it is the parents vs. kids. This game is super funny! I will hopefully get some super cute pics:) I cannot play due to my right knee & ankle. They are still pretty painful when I move wrong:( Maybe next year I'll be able to play. Jason will be playing tonight, though:)

Gotta be a quickie;)
I'm on my way to work, so this is gonna be quick:)
Yesterday, after I got done with work, we went to soccer (last week left) where the kids played against the yellow team again and lost 1-0:( They still had fun, but the only goal the other team scored, you'll never guess who was goalie - I'm afraid it was Lexie. I thought for sure she was gonna be cranky all night & I'd have to hear, "It's not my fault!", but she only said that it was hard to guard the whole goal because it's pretty big! Taylor came with us & I told the boys that they were absolutely not allowed to tease her! They played pretty well, but you could tell they were beat! It was kinda hot!
Anyway, we picked up pizza on the way home & then went to Grandma Wanda's for Lexie's birthday party. I'll let Lexie blog about that later:) Right now, they are on their way to Marquette with Grandma Wanda, Grandpa Jim, Kylee, & Taylor! They are going to the children's museum & Presque Isle (not sure on spelling) for lunch. They are also gonna do some shopping - I'm sure grandpa will have to stop at Gander Mountain!
Ok, well, gotta go - I'll holler at ya later!

My baby is 8 years old! I love you very much, Lulu!
Hey guys!
I am just getting ready to go to bed - I open tomorrow:( Then run, run, run - home, then back to town for soccer (we have to bring the snack tomorrow), then back home, & to Wanda's for Lexie's birthday bash! Super fun! I baked my cake tonight - I am making my famous coconut cake:) Super Yummy! Also, I am making some cheesecake:) Not sure what kind yet - I have to pick topping up tomorrow - maybe on my break:)
Anyway, my princess is 8 today:) She's getting so big! We let her choose where we were going for dinner tonight & she chose Just Burgers! LOL! What a goofy kid:) She ordered mini corn dogs! She's too funny! After that, we ran to Shopko because her birthday money was burning a hole in her pocket! She bought 2 pairs of jeans & 2 shirts. She did very well - it only cost me 45 cents! I did use my $10 off purchase of $40 coupon, though! That girl loves to shop! Oh, she had to have a Smurf shirt - it's white & it has Smurfette on it:) I had to get her a XL! It was one of those itty bitty tees:( Oh, well! Oh, and the 2 pairs of jeans she got have a $4 rebate on the purchase of 2 pairs! Now if only I can remember to mail that in!LOL!
Ok, I really got to finish up my cake & go to bed! Not cool when it takes 1.5 hrs to upload those pics:( Goodnight!
Oh, Shannah, maybe Tuesday would be better - we've got alot going on Wednesday. I guess I will talk to you later! We can go after Dave gets home:) Love you!

A day in the life...
Today is Lexie's birthday! Well, for starters, I went to church and after we ate there, we had a water balloon fight and a potato sack race. I won all four of the races! Lexie didn't play any of the games - she was in church helping to clean up.
Yesterday, I went to my Uncle Kevin & Auntie Tracy's house. I played with Taylor out in the sand with his cars. He did races & I did demolition derby! I stepped on the edge of the hill & it colapsed on the cars! Taylor was racing in the water. One of his guys touched the bottom & started to sink. If you think this was at the beach, but it wasn't. Taylor's water was a puddle.
Friday, I went to my Auntie Shannah & Uncle Dave's house. I went to see Grandpa Dave & I played Spyro. Lexie did, too. Grandpa made these balloon animals - it was funny!
Well, gotta go!

Happy Birthday to Me!
When I went shopping on Wednesday with Grandma Wanda, I got 2 DS games: Littlest Pet Shop Jungle & Nintendogs (with German Shepherd & Chihuahua). They are very fun! I finally figured out how to feed my Chihuahua puppy, Daisy! She is so cute! She has a fluffy tail.
Since today's my birthday, when we went to church, I got some presents. I also got $10 from Chris, a lady at church. She's very nice!
Friday night, my mom, Brett, and I went to Rapid River. I visited with Auntie Shannah, my cousins, Li'l D, Cassidy, & Cadence, and my Grandma Lynn & Grandpa Dave. Grandpa made me some balloon animals, but Bells popped my mouse:( My dog must have had a leak - it shrank away:( Thanks anyway, Grandpa!

I know it's been a couple days...
Hi, it's been a few days:( Sorry! Well, I was planning on blogging Thursday night, but we were having thunderstorms & I didn't want to chance another modem being zapped:( Then, Friday I worked 8-4, then came home, made dinner, & went to visit Auntie Shannah & Li'l D:) We had a nice visit:) Shannah and I watched "Push" while D bounced & spun in his bouncer! He sure is funny to watch:) Brett & Lexie went to visit with Grandpa Dave for a little bit & he made them some balloon animals:) They sure were cute. Then Grandma Lynn & the girls came back & the kids visited with them for a bit. When the movie was done, it was time to go home (9:30/10). I was too tired to blog:(
Then Saturday, I worked 3-11, so again, no time to blog - got home around midnight as we got pretty busy after Monster Trucks let out at the Fair Grounds. I was beat!
Well, this morning, we were supposed to have church at the park, but the rainy weather changed those plans:( We still had chicken & lots of other goodies & the kids played a couple games which I will let them talk about!
Of course, it's Lexie's 8th birthday today! Hooray! She's pretty excited! She got some money from Grandma Lynn the other night & a lady at church gave her some today! She thinks she's pretty rich now:) She told me that she needs some new jeans, which I totally agree with, so we are going shopping soon for some:) I will definitely have her try them on first as she grows soooo fast! My bad little weed:)LOL!
She keeps watching the clock since I told her she was born @3:48 p.m. so she'll officially be 8 at that time:) Brett had to make sure he got her 8 spankings in:) She, of course, was none too pleased by that! Okay, I guess it's time to get the kids so they can tell you all about the last few days:)
Oh, by the way, I didn't realize they were still doing games, so I didn't bring my camera - I have no pics of Brett doing the potato sack race:( He was quite good at it!
Also, I have to get Lexie this shirt at JCPenney: it says Peas Out! It has some peas in a pod! It reminds me of how she signs out on her blog:)

Today, I watched 2 movies, then went to soccer practice. We played against our friend, Tegan, and their team won by 1 goal:( Then, we came home. I climbed some trees and ran around the yard while daddy cut the grass.
I'm super excited about tomorrow - my Grandma Wanda is taking me birthday shopping! I think I will get 2 games for my DS: Nintendogs or Littlest Pet Shop. My mommy is giving me some money, too, so I will have enough for 2 games:)
I will tell you all about it tomorrow night:)

I've captured the wild and rare tiger-striped kitten! Me and my 27 men went on an expedition to find this rare creature. We found her stalking her prey, a tiny muskrat. Luckily for the muskrat, I caught her first! My men and I put a dirty fight, but in the end, it was I who prevailed. I flew back to America where I had a buyer willing to pay $1 trillion! I told the buyer that I provided the weapons & skill, therefore, I deserved the prize:) The buyer's name was Taylor and we named the kitten, Bells.
Okay, so anyway, at soccer tonight, we played against the green team of Ireland. We lost 1-0. It was a great game! I was goalie and I rocked!

Hey! Gonna try to post some pics. I have a memory card reader in my printer, so I have been just reading it & saving pics on my computer, then uploading to the blog. Apparently it's not working without the EMPTY black cartridge in it:( I went to Walmart & Staples to find ink for it, but no luck:( Then, I took my empty cartridge to Walgreens to see if they could fill it, but this printer is too new - they can only fill the older ones?!? Grrr! Anyway, I'm going to see what I can find on Ebay, otherwise I'll have to special order it or something. You would think they would have it at Staples were I bought the printer in Feb or March!

This is Brett's Blog:)
Hello!
Yesterday, I went to grandma's house. I beat pokemon XD! Then I went soccer. We played against the gray/silver team. We tied 1-1! We could've won, but they kept shoving us. I assisted on Aiden's goal:) After soccer was done, Lexie & I went to Menards with dad. He got landscaping timbers for the dog pen. Then we went for a ride down the trail past our house. Daddy wanted to see what all the big tire tracks were from.
We ate grilled cheese & chicken nuggets, then we went to grandma's house (2nd time)! Hunter & Quinton were there. And so was Taylor! Oh, happy days:) We were all jumping on the trampoline. We were playing "Spider". It's when there's one person on all fours with their eyes closed, trying to tag someone. When I'm the spider, I usually just run around the whole trampoline. Then, Hunter, Taylor, and I went inside and played Star Wars. I beat both Taylor & Hunter. Hunter didn't beat anyone, but he hasn't played very often. He did play very well. Today, mom & I changed my sheets. Now, I have to clean my room because mom & dad are going to be scrubbing the carpets this week or next.

Yesterday, I went to grandma's house. I beat pokemon XD! Then I went soccer. We played against the gray/silver team. We tied 1-1! We could've won, but they kept shoving us. I assisted on Aiden's goal:) After soccer was done, Lexie & I went to Menards with dad. He got landscaping timbers for the dog pen. Then we went for a ride down the trail past our house. Daddy wanted to see what all the big tire tracks were from.
We ate grilled cheese & chicken nuggets, then we went to grandma's house (2nd time)! Hunter & Quinton were there. And so was Taylor! Oh, happy days:) We were all jumping on the trampoline. We were playing "Spider". It's when there's one person on all fours with their eyes closed, trying to tag someone. When I'm the spider, I usually just run around the whole trampoline. Then, Hunter, Taylor, and I went inside and played Star Wars. I beat both Taylor & Hunter. Hunter didn't beat anyone, but he hasn't played very often. He did play very well. Taylor almost died - that was until he used his missiles.

Yesterday, Kylee & I went to town with grandma to get some stuff to make cookies. We made chocolate chip & peanut butter ones:) Yummy!
Then, my mom picked me up & we went home to get ready for soccer! We got a tie - Whoo-hoo! (Aparently daddy was mistaken!)
After soccer, we went back to grandma's house for coffee night. I jumped on the trampoline with Brett and my cousins, Taylor, Hunter, & Quinton. I picked some of my grandma's raspberries - they were yummy! I also watched the chickens. Kaylie sure liked them! After chasing her around grandma's back yard, we went home. I went to bed a little later.
This morning, my mom & I changed the sheets on my bed. Then mom hung up my Tinkerbell bulletin board since she was tired of waiting for daddy to do it:)

Family with dogs!
I was having computer troubles last night, so I didn't get to post anything:(
Gotta love dial-up! Anyway, after work, I picked the kids up at my MIL's (mother-in-law), then we went home to get ready for soccer. Brett & Lexie played the gray team - I can't remember which country this is. Anyway, the kids did very well - Brett even came very close to a goal. This was probably the best game yet this year, however, we did not win:( The gray team won 2-1! Our only goal was scored by Aiden Harmon, our friends' son & one of Brett's best friends, with a nice assist by my Brett:) It was too cool! He needed his inhaler a couple of times last night:( Better safe than sorry, though! I sure don't want him to have to be hooked up to oxygen because he worked too hard at soccer! You can tell that they are really getting the hang of the game:) Both kids had to tie their shoes repeatedly until daddy got tired of it & double-tied them:)
After soccer, the kids went to Menards with daddy while I went to Super One to pick up something for dinner (something quick as it was 6 p.m & we go to my MIL's on Monday @ 7p.m!) Anyway, Jason had mentioned grilled cheese on Texas Toast the other day, so that's what I decided on:) I made it with american & jack cheese - very good! We had chicken nuggets with it. We haven't had this kind of dinner in a long time:)
At my MIL's (Wanda), we had some cookies - my niece, Kylee, & Lexie helped grandma make chocolate chip cookies & peanut butter (my fave!). They were GREAT! I will have to make cookies with Lexie soon. She really likes cowpies and that is a pretty summer-friendly cookie as you don't need to bake it! Although, with our weather lately, it doesn't kill you to have the oven on! Brrr!
Oh, by the way, after I posted Sunday night, we had a slight trauma at our house:( Not sure what started it, but Kaylie went after Kyra. Kyra is not hurt:) But she was VERY scared! She ran & hid under our bed & would not come out. I finally got her out & her little tail was tucked between her legs & she was shiverring (more than normal).
Monday morning, she wouldn't go near the entryway or Kaylie & Jason had to let her out the side door & carry her back in. Poor baby! We think Kaylie thinks the entryway is her room, so she was "protecting" it! We are watching the dogs because we will certainly not tolerate Kyra getting hurt! You can just imagine what Jason had to say about that!
Last night, she was better. We took the dogs to grandma's. Kaylie & Ruger (Jason's brother, Kevin's dog) got into it a little. Ruger is very hyper & wants to play with her, but I think he makes her nervous. Jason was hoping that Ruger would teach her some manners:) He's very offended that she scared his baby:) LOL!
Right now, Kyra is laying on the couch & Kaylie is on the floor next to the couch. She doesn't show aggression toward Kyra normally - like I said, we don't exactly know what happened there.

My war wounds:(
This is my war wound on my left elbow from my fall. You can't tell from this pic, but the scrapes extend down my arm to my wrist. My whole left side is scraped, bruised, & sore. It sure makes for a long few days at work!Checking each other out:)

Hey - Just thought I'd check in real quick. I had to work 5-12 this morning:( Anyway, bad news about the roast - apparently it's been in the freezer too long & it's not good! So, change of plans, we are having pork tenderloin tonight - I'm not sure if I like this or not as I don't recall ever eating it! Oh, well, I know Jason really likes it. I am still having mashed potatoes & cooked carrots, though! I can't wait:)
Jason & the kids went to church this morning, but I'll let Lexie tell you about her little plant in a yogurt cup:)
Oh, I finally had time to stop at this roadside fruit & veggie stand by White's - boy, do they have some nice stuff! I got a couple of HUGE zucchinis - they were 2/$1. I also got peaches, pears, kiwi, green onions, lemons, tomatoes, and green peppers & it cost me less than $13! I'm so excited! I LOVE fresh fruits & veggies:) They also had cantaloupe, watermelon, bananas, plums, cherries, blueberries, corn, green beans, potatoes, yellow & vidalia onions, and some other stuff that I can't remember - oh & limes & apples, too! Those cherries & blueberries looked especially tastey, but I will have to wait to get some because if I get too much at once, I end up throwing it away:(

Not too much today. I had to work until 2 p.m. It was another busy day, but at least our drive times are better today! After work, I dropped my deposit off and ran to pick up a few things at Walmart real quick - well, not so quick! They moved some stuff around so I had to search for it. The shavers are where the deodorant was, the dog toys are where the hamster & bird stuff was, etc. It made my "quick trip" twice as long:( I had a message from Jason that Brett didn't want to go to the Mud Drags with him, so I had to pick Brett up at Grandma Wanda's. I guess he was pretty good. She said he's so quiet that she worries sometime she will forget he's there and decide to go somewhere - leaving him there alone. Well, at least he knows how to use the phone:)
We went to the Solomon's for a cook-out, but we didn't stay long because I have to get up at 4 a.m. to work:( I don't know what the plan is for tomorrow yet. Shannah said she may come over for a visit. I asked Jason to put the roast in the slow cooker when he wakes up:) Yummy! Mashed potatoes & carrots, too!
Lexie had a little difficulty with the bubble bath tonight - aparently, it went somewhere it shouldn't have & gave her a little trouble going to the bathroom:( Poor Lexie - it looks like no more bubble bath for her:(
Ok, I have to check my Facebook out, I see I have several messages:) Also, I have to balance my checkbook & order my new work shoes - hopefully these ones won't hurt my feet like these junky ones from Payless!

A day at the Mud Drags in Rock, MI (Lexie)
Today I went to the mud drags. There are big, fast trucks. Also, there are buggies - they are really, really fast! Brett is my grandma & grandpa's house. I was part of the pit crew from Wildfire painted by Frog. Jeff Solomon went to the big mud pit. I helped my daddy change the tires on Jeff's Bronco. When I went to the bathroom, I accidentally locked myself in, so I had to pound the lock to get out. LOL! After that, me & dad got some nachos:) Yum-my! When we got back, there was another class starting. Uncle Jeff got 2nd place (his dad beat him again!). Auntie Audrey got 1st place in the women's class:) When the mud drags were over, I saw dad take down a canopy - it was really funny! He told me to get out of the mud. (Mama can hardly believe I was in the mud:)LOL!) A little boy lost his shoe in the mud & I had to get it out. Also, he wanted to race me because I told him that my dogs could probably beat him in a race. Daddy, Charlie and I went home. Charlie left his truck at our house and rode to the mud drags with us.

Our walk
Well, we didn't get to walk as far as I planned. about half-way or so, my ankle gave out on me and I fell. It does that once in a while on uneven ground:( Anyway, I scraped my left knee & elbow and my right ankle hurts. Nice:) When I fell, it startled Brett and he hit his knee on his bike. Lexie said she was running home to get some bandaids because my elbow was bleeding. I told her that it could wait until we got home. Brett kept saying, "Oh, God!" and looking at my arm which had a small bit of blood on it:) He's not good in these sorts of situations - kinda reminds me of my mom:) Lexie just takes charge! She's too funny:) Anyway, we walked back home and I tried to wash my elbow, but it was hard to see, so I ran myself a bath. I washed it as well as I could. After I got out, Lexie helped me clean the dirt out with Peroxide. It hurt a lot! Ouch! Anyway, I think we got it pretty clean and Lexie helped me bandage it. She's so helpful sometimes:) She also told me that I shouldn't go to work tomorrow since I hurt my elbow:) I told her Tina would laugh at me if I tried that! LOL!

First, in the morning, I went to my grandma's house. I was there for a while. I got there about 8:30 and I stayed until 5:15. My mom worked 9-5 today:) Right before 5:15, Taylor came. Everybody knows his first question: Can we play the GameCube: I said, "You're gonna have to play with my sister." He said, "Fine, then, I'll probably wup her butt at MarioKart." I was thinking, MarioKart is his least favorite game! But then my mom came & picked us up. Then we went home.
A couple hours later, we went for a walk. Kyra, Kaylie, mom, Lexie, and, of course, myself. I rode my bike. Lexie was walking Kaylie. While mom was pretty much keeping an eye on Kyra. We came home and Lexie and I watched Spiderwick. Now, I am tired, so I am going to bed:)

I should have stopped on the way home to see if there were any good movies to rent since Jason will be at Kevin's working on Grandma Mary's car. Just me and the kids tonight! I will have to see what we can find to do. I am making Mac n Cheese for dinner! From a box - Kraft! I worked until 5 and I don't feel like making anything elaborate, so mac 'n cheese, here we come!
Brett & Jason are playing Connect Four again. I'm pretty sure Jay is winning again! Poor Brett! I think Lexie is waiting her turn to play with daddy!
After dinner, the kids & I are going to take the dogs for a walk. Kaylie needs some exercise since she was stuck in the house all day today - it looked like it was going to rain, so I didn't want to leave her outside - at least not until Jason finishes building her doghouse:)

Lexie's world
This morning, I woke up and went to my grandma's house. My cousin Kylee came like a half an hour later. And then, I took a little nap, I believe. Then I woke up and watched some t.v. I went outside to see the chickens and sit on the patio set. (Grandma just got a new one from all her retirement money!) I played Mario Kart on the GameCube and I accidentally switched memory cards on it. Brett was not happy! Then I watched Little House on the Pararie with grandma and Kylee. Then my mom picked me up. When I got home - first off, I saw Kaylie. She jumped on me twice. And after that, I went inside and watched some of Indiana Jones until I got bored. Then I went in my room to read a book. When my dad got home, my dog, Kyra, ran right to my daddy. When daddy got home, he started the grill. Me and Kaylie started running. Kaylie ran around the whole field! She saw some deer and decided to chase them. Then our neighbor, Jake, was walking his sheep and Kaylie had to go say, "HI!". Then daddy had to get her and then he hooked her up. I think he was tired of chasing her.

A day in the life of a boy
This is Brett!
My mom made a nice title. Well, we went to my Grandma's house in the morning. I just went there and watched t.v. for a little bit. Then Taylor came along. His first question was, "Can we play the GameCube?". Nice question! Of course we can! Taylor didn't want to play Mario Kart, but we played one round. Then, of course, he wanted to play Star Wars: The Clone Wars. It's basically his favorite game. Whenever we played, I, of course, was the winner! I told him that he needed more practice. I told him to go on the academy one for some practice, but he kept dying on me! Motor tanks were Taylor's problem. They're no biggie to me, except for the fact that when they shoot at me, I lose most of my health! Taylor always picks the Walker because it has a shield, but you have to wait for it to recharge. What a wussie, huh? Then we were playing Base Attack - it's when you go onto these bases and you wait for these 4 turrets and your comrades to come out. Then Taylor decided to play Lego Star Wars. My mom made a nice title. Well, we went to my Grandma's house in the morning. I just went there and watched t.v. for a little bit. Then Taylor came along. His first question was, "Can we play the GameCube?". Nice question! Of course we can! Taylor didn't want to play Mario Kart, but we played one round. Then, of course, he wanted to play Star Wars: The Clone Wars. It's basically his favorite game. Whenever we played, I, of course, was the winner! I told him that he needed more practice. I told him to go on the academy one for some practice, but he kept dying on me! Motor tanks were Taylor's problem. They're no biggie to me, except for the fact that when they shoot at me, I lose most of my health! Taylor always picks the Walker because it has a shield, but you have to wait for it to recharge. What a wussie, huh? Then we were playing Base Attack - it's when you go onto these bases and you wait for these 4 turrets and your comrades to come out. Then Taylor decided to play Lego Star Wars. I had a very hectic day today. At least I accomplished a lot at work - not everything I wanted to get done, but most of it. We were super busy today and no one covered a shift for someone who no longer works @ BK. That made us short all day, with no one strong to work the kitchen. Crappy drive times today. Also, corporate just made a new policy that we all have to take a half-hour break for every 5 hours we work. This is a pain! Most of the time, when I open, I take a break at 8 or 8:30, then work until 2 or 3. Well, now this is a violation because I would need to take another 30 minute break at 1:30 or 2. It's going to take some getting used to! Everything we've been doing for so long is now changing!
Hey, I'm back! I just had to go take Bell's new toy away - it was a tampon! Don't worry, it was still in the wrapper - it must have fallen out of my purse! She probably would have liked it better out of the package with the cord hanging out!LOL! Funny cat! It sure is entertaining with a kitten around. Thanks for picking such a great one for us, Casey!
I worked until 5 a.m. - 2 p.m. today, then I dropped of my deposit and went to Super One for a few groceries. I decided corn on the cob and burgers on the grill was the way to go tonight! Mmmmmmm! I can't wait! Jason, the king of the grill is working on them now!
Anyway, Brett swiped the rest of a strawberry pie & whipped cream from Grandma Wanda's house today (after Kylee & Taylor got their share!). When we got home, Kaylie was very happy to see us. She kept pulling on her chain, so I had to pull her back to unhook her. She ran right to the front door for Lexie to let her in. Kyra decided to stay in the car even though the door was left open (forgetful kids:)) . Anyway, Kaylie came out of the house with Lexie and hopped into the car. There both dogs sat, refusing to move! They stayed in there until it was obvious that we weren't going for a ride, I think!
Then Grandpa Jim came to drop something off for Jason, so both dogs and kids had to go greet him & Uncle Jimmy. Finally, dogs and children went into the house to calm down:) Then the kids put groceries away. It's amazing how they have lived here their whole lives and still ask me where stuff goes. Lexie asked me where the carton of Minute Maid Fruit Punch went. Brett asked me where the corn went. There's always something.
Brett and Lexie were just playing Connect 4, but apparently a fight brewed between them, so now Brett and Daddy are playing. They are tied 1 - 1 now, so they are playing a tie-breaker. I took a pic, so I'll have to post it in a sec! Daddy won! Poor Brett! Now they are playing best of 5! Too funny!
Ok, I guess I've blogged enough for right now.

This is Brett!
Well, I was playing soccer, at first I was defense. Once the ball went right past me because it was going super fast! At least Brandon caught it! He was goalie. What a relief! When I heard I was going to be midfield, I was thinking, I don't want to be midfield. But I did anyway. The other team's defense was not that good. I was just about to make a goal, but the little wussy goalie grabbed the ball and I was just about to make my first goal and ... Boom! It's done! I was so angry! But at least we won! When I was forward, I was running really fast and when the other team had the ball, I ran up to them and took the ball right from them! After the game, we went with our friends to the park. Lexie was bored because she had no one to play with and a random person said, "I'll play with you!" I told her we were playing tag, if she wanted to play, she was welcome. We played for a while & McKenzie was "IT". Then, McKenzie and Aiden wanted to eat, so we went to eat. Then we went on the swings and then we went home.

Today, I woke up & started cleaning my room again. I also went to soccer practice and won! After that, we went to the park. There's this one girl at the park who was kind of a stranger and she was walking around with us (Tegan, McKenzie, and I). Her name was Abby. She was hanging out with us and we didn't even know her. After that, she started following me to the table, but I told her she wasn't a part of the group, so she ran back and told her friend that she didn't want to go play with us anymore. Then we started spying on her.

Well, we sure had a busy day today! We finally finished cleaning Lexie's room. What a job that was! I let Brett keep the couple coins he found for helping me. I think he made 15 cents! At least he's still happy with that! Pretty soon I won't get him to do anything for less than 20 bucks, I'm sure!
Anyway, I spent a little time playing with the background and tickers on the blog. I have to do a few more things to it, but it's not too shabby, if I say so myself.
I had to make deviled eggs for our weekly get-together with some friends. They were quite a hit with the men, but not so much with their wives. Apparently there is a gas leak problem?!? LOL! Well, they were nearly gone. I think Lexie ate the rest when we got home. She sure does love deviled eggs.
The kids' soccer team is the Netherlands which is orange & black. Very convenient for me since their school colors are orange & black! They played against the light blue team of Italy, which we won 2-3! The kids were pretty excited! Neither of them scored a goal yet this year, but they sure can't wait to get one!
After soccer, we stopped at D&M Subs in Escanaba for our family #8 and some drinks, then headed to the park with the dogs. Bron and Phil wanted to meet our new baby. She was very well behaved! I can't say the same for her sassy sister, Kyra, though! She's not really sociable.
Several of my friends have a facebook, so that's my next project. I won't be starting that tonight, though. I have to get my work schedule done. We lost another employee this week, so it makes it alittle harder. Oh, well, we'll make it - somehow we always do!
Well, the kids are done with their bath & shower, so I'm sure they want to do some blogging. Lexie's still not allowed to shower - she falls too much! I got one of those slip mats for her, but I still feel safer with her sitting.

May we talk about yesterday? I went to my grandma's house. It was her birthday - she turned 59. My cousin, Taylor, and I were jumping on the trampoline acting like vicious tigers in pursuit of prey. I even attacked a monkey!

Hey, Peeps!
This is Lexie here. Today, I played with my dog, Kaylie. I folded laundry and cleaned my room. I also ate yogurt in my daddy's chair. I also took Kaylie and Kyra outside. Whenever I started running, Kaylie was also running. She ran way faster than me and I almost hurt my arm. I am from Escanaba. My favorite hockey team is the Red Wings. I go to Lemmer school. My principal moved downstate, so I am waiting to meet my new one in the fall! I made a new friend this weekend. Her name is Nevva and she lives in Rapid River.

Hi! Welcome to our first blog! I really don't have much to say today. I didn't have to work, so Brett, Lexie, & I spent the day at home. We didn't leave the house once! What a nice day. We got some chores done around the house since we were at the Bark River Off-Road Races this weekend.
Lexie's still working on cleaning her room. She gets distracted too easily. Brett has had his done for hours. They can't have their Nintendo DSs back until their rooms are clean.
We also stayed home to give our new dog some time to get used to us some more. We picked her up in Oconto last Thursday night. We took her with us to the races this weekend because we didn't want to leave her somewhere from Friday night until Sunday night. She was very good. She only got into it with our friends', Jeff & Audrey, Bailey, once. Baily snapped at her and Kaylie, our dog, snapped back. Well, at least we know she won't take any crap! LOL!
She's very shy and hardly makes any noise. This may change as she gets used to us. She just turned 2 years old on May 10th. Her previous owners, who live in Appleton, had to get rid of her because their male Siberian Husky was too agressive with her and they felt it wasn't fair to Kayle who is only 46 pounds. She is very small. She is beautiful! She has 2 blue eyes and her coloring is white, black, red, and gray all mixed up. She is very unusual looking, but still a pretty girl.
Bells, our 4 month old kitten, hissed at her the first night, but when we came home from camping Sunday night, she was rubbing up against her and purring. Silly kitty, I guess she's ok now!
Kyra, our 5 year old Minature Pinscher, on the other hand, is not too fond of Kaylie yet. I don't think Kyra likes sharing her daddy with anyone. She growls at her if she gets too close to Jason. What a princess!
The kids love the new dog! They are constantly hugging and petting her. Lexie constantly wants to walk her, which anyone who knows Lexie will not be suprised to hear!LOL! Brett still wants a puppy, though. He just loves little dogs. He wanted me to get him a toy poodle, but Jason didn't go for that. Poor Brett!
We did'nt have soccer today, but we will tomorrow night and then we're going down to the park with some friends. Hopefully, I will be able to find my camera and get some pictures to post.
