Ok - sorry, all! It's been crazy busy lately! I just don't know where all the time is going:( It's almost Halloween, for God's sake! At least I have sorta started my shopping because I think it's gonna be a little less if you know what I mean. Oh, well, the kids are pretty good:) Actually, I had them make out their Christmas lists for me & they are pretty simple:) Lexie has 1)Polly Pockets 2) Littlest Pet Shop 3) CD Player 4) DS Games 5) I-POD. Brett has his in categories:) LOL! He is so funny! Anyway, under Legos: Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and Agents - under Action Figures: Star Wars, Transformers, and something else I can't think of right now:( & there is clothes on his list! Isn't that awesome? I remember having tons of things on my list & not getting any of them!:) It was still good:)
Ok, last week was homecoming for the Eskymos. We played the Rhinelander Hodags & whooped them! It was like 63-21 or so:) Brett decided not to come to the game with us, so he stayed at Grandma Wanda's. We ended up leaving at half-time again. Lexie had a problem which I will tell you about in a sec:), so we went & picked Brett up & went to our friends, Charlie & Theresa's:) We hadn't been there in a while - everyone is just so busy these days:(
Alright, Lexie's problem Friday night... Well, Lexie took the bus home to grandma's. (Brett got picked up by daddy - not feeling well) We were getting ready to go to the game - we were just gonna pick Lexie up on our way. She was out by the chickens when the rooster went after her! It was clawing & pecking at her legs & she kicked it away, but she was so scared that she had tripped & twisted her ankle. She was hobbling all night & climbing on her hands & knees up the stands at the football game - it was kinda funny;) Anyway, when we got back to grandma's, I took a look at it & her ankle was really swollen & purple:( Poor thing! I felt so bad for laughing at her, but she's so dramatic all the time that I blow it off because I know how she is. Anyway, I took her to the walk-in clinic on Saturday morning because she obviously couldn't go to basketball & after 3 hours, we were told it was a bad sprain. They didn't do anything for her:(
So I met Shannah at Walmart because we were heading to Clintonville to see my sister, Casey. I got some tylenol for Lexie & some wrapping bandages. Then, we got gas & some lunch & were on our way (only 2 hours later that I had planned!) Well, by Sunday, her foot was much better:) It's still a little purple, but she's not limping anymore:)
Sunday was my first day of teaching Sunday school:) It was pretty fun. There were only 4 kids in there, though. It was Brett, Lexie, & 2 other girls ages 6 & 13. We had fun:) When we got home, Jason & the kids got ready & went to camp while I had to go to work:*( to close! Anyway, it was slow so I got the schedule done:)
We went to Wanda's as usual on Monday night. Tuesday, Lexie & I went to the JV & Varsity girl's volleyball game against the Kingsford Flivvers - which we lost both:( Then Lexie & I ran to Shopko to refill Brett's inhalers ($60!)Then we went to the Dollar Tree to get calculators & staplers for work, dropped them off at BK, the to SuperOne to get milk & stuff. Then we went to Grandma's to pick up Brett. It was pretty late & he was tired:( I made them some tuna sandwiches for their lunch & Nisa decided that she wanted some, too! She went nuts trying to jump from the floor to the countertop:) She's much too little to make it:) I'll have to post some new pics - she is sooooo cute:)
We are happy to say we survived Bell's first heat cycle! OMG! Jason was about ready to go find her a boyfriend:) She was driving us nuts:) LOL! Anyway, she's back to herself now & we are at peace until the next one rolls around:( We will have to get her fixed soon!
Ok, I think you are all caught up:)
Oh, one more thing - SAD! One of Jason's best friends, Shawn, just lost his sister on Monday:( She was only 35. She was a single mother of 2 teenage boys. She dropped on Sunday & was rushed to the hospital - had CT scan, then rushed to MQT General where she was put on life support, but no brain activity:( We are very sad & we'll miss her very much. She was such a nice person & we are deeply sad for Shawn's family:( Danielle will be missed:( She had a brain annuerism ( idk how to spell it). Shannah, can you let mom know. I know she really liked Shawn:(
On that very sad note, I will say ttyl!
I will post cute pic of kids:)
